This is the format and Music that I have decided to use for my final production.
'Keeping Faith' from www.freeplay.com
This is the first version of my opening titles sky sequence, It has been very hard to choose between the two music pieces as they both fit the character, story and flow to give an impacting opening.
'Keeping Faith' is one of my favourite pieces of music as it is relaxed, elegant and has an element of mystery to it. The strings and the on going note behind the tune adds mystery. The repeated piano notes reflect Scarlett Jones, a small part of something much bigger, referring to how she copes within the huge celebrity world.
'Hard Knocks' is one of the most modern tracks that I have chosen as a possibility for my soundtrack. I love the piano as it reflects Scarlett Jones as a character and her personality. I don't think I will use this track however as it has a too modern feel and I want the to be an element of nostalgia to the opening.

This track is one of my favourites 'Facing Twilight Reprise', the flute enhances the soundtrack and makes it seem very delicate and appropriate for the character of Scarlett Jones. There is an element of mystery about the track as it seems happy but slightly sorrowful enhancing the plot line.

This is 'Floating In the Air', I am divided on using this track as I love the beginning intro with the piano and heavy beats but as soon as the flute comes in at 0:12 seconds the atmosphere changes and the music becomes too fairy tale genre for my film, it could be used for a magical opening for a fantasy film but my film 'The Make-up of Scarlett Jones' is a Biopic and is very naturalistic.

This sample of music is called 'Through Thick and Thin'. This soundtrack is more fitted to my opening titles style. It is smooth and easy to listen to and supports the elegance of the character but has a slight sadness to it. I feel the piano is the perfect instrument to define Scarlett Jones as it's sound is effortless and relaxed but can easily change the mood of the music by changing the tempo or pitch.

This track is called 'Unwanted Spawn'. This track has more mystery about it, it has a solemn side to it which I think suits the introduction and I now think that there should be an element of mystery about the film and that the audience should begin to think about what is behind the facade of Scarlett Jones. The strings behind the main tune make the soundtrack seem a lot more dramatic.

This soundtrack ('Freckles') is very delicate, which suits the character of Scarlett Jones perfectly. It also doesn't give a first impression, it is simple and clear and doesn't suggest the film will be especially sad or happy. This piece of music is a little up beat for what I want.
I want my opening titles to ease the audience into the film and show a relaxed atmosphere but on the other hand I want it to be unique.

This is a plan of the main shots I require for my main production. I was able to take some photos of the aircraft I intend to use when I was visiting it to plan my filming schedule and when I had my actress, Chloé Grahame available I filmed some practice footage and was able to take photos and as well as screen shots of that footage, this was useful as I could clearly establish what I wanted to include in my opening sequence.
These are a series of main titles experiments which I carried out so that I was able to decide exactly how I wanted the text to appear, so that when my filming was complete I could easily out together all the elements of my opening sequence.
